Episode 19: John Arquilla and Mike Masnick

This week we juxtaposed the ideas of digital defense and open lines of communication by bringing two guests that fall on opposite sides of the security spectrum. First up was a repeat guest, military strategist John Arquilla, who rejoined us to discuss the SolarWinds cyber intrusion and its impact on our country’s state of security, both cyber and tangible. John’s insights were followed up by Mike Masnick, the founder of online blog, Techdirt. He discussed his current work alongside diving into his understanding of free speech, content moderation, and running a large platform, like Techdirt, at scale.
