Our guests for this week followed a central theme of what the future holds in various markets and industries. We led with David Aaker, vice chair at Prophet, who explains how branding needs to shift to interact with a higher social purpose in order to drive and position a company. He particularly emphasized the importance of this process for building a brand and solidifying a customer base, two pieces that are particularly important during this pandemic. Next, we moved outside of branding to have a conversation with established tech blogger, Robert Scoble. He discussed his predictions on the future of AR/VR, particularly spatial computing and 3D mapping and how these new forms of experience architecture will shift the way we live on a day to day basis in only a few short years.
